Meet The Face Behind Flores Photography
I’m Fefe Flores, the proud owner of Fefe Flores Photography. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
Growing up, I got my first sewing machine at eight years old and always wanted a career in fashion. In high school, I discovered film photography and spent most of my hours in the darkroom, creating and experimenting. I then went on to graduate from the University of Guelph-Humber with a BAA in Media Communications specializing in Creative Photography.
In 2005, while still in my 2nd year, I got hired at Magenta Photo Studio, an upscale portrait studio. Throughout my year career with them, I photographed over three thousand families and became very good at working with kids. When I had my first son in 2012, I began freelance photography and started working for myself while being a full-time mom and never looked back.
With eighteen years of experience in the industry, I have learned a lot. Initially, when I began freelancing, I was unsure about how much to charge and what to include. Today I know what I am worth and what to charge, and I am confident of what to add to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Knowing the happiness I capture will bring many years of enjoyment for my clients, and the fact that I’m grabbing a fleeting moment in time is priceless. It is what inspires me. I love capturing clients in a way that they’ll love and feel more confident about themselves. Showing them how beautiful and unique they are and doing something I genuinely love and am passionate about is the most rewarding part of my business.
My business philosophy is to always give my clients the best experience. When a client looks at the photos I take, I want them to feel the joy and almost hear the laughter that they see on their smiling faces.
Why I’ve been successful
I attribute my success to my amazing family. I have a highly supportive mom and amazing sisters who constantly inspire me because they are driven and successful in their fields. I have two beautiful sons, and they are my inspiration for the work that I do. Finally, my drive and passion for photography ensure that I will always be growing in my industry. Photography will always be something I love, and that’s why I’m so successful.
During my downtime
When I am not at work, I love cooking, dining out, traveling, sewing, crafting, watching movies, and spending time with my boys and extended family. Family is very important to me, so I love making memorable experiences. When I meet my clients, I love learning more about them and getting to know them. I engage the children in conversations, make them feel like they are a part of the photo session process, give them choices and make things fun and relaxed.
